That's not too far from the gist of the talk, Bert.
A talk involving a discussion about ontological commitment? That doesn't seem your style. Unless the discussion amounts to, "don't worry about it, just do the logic!"

I just dug out and re-listened to the cassette tape of when I iwiervtened her several years ago for a school project. My favorite parts:Courtship, wedding and marriage in one sentence: We got to going together and six weeks after I met him, we got married and we got in his little Model T Ford and continued on. The cost of a wedding during the Depression:The pastor married them during the Sunday church service, and for payment Ruth's husband then had to preach the sermon.Grandma Ruth's view on life: Well, I would say I'm thankful to have lived this long because not everybody does. And it's been a wonderful thing to be able to have lived through all this past century, well almost all of it! And even to think about how everything has come and gone and changed and all the rest is an enjoyable thing to me. I'm very thankful to have all my children and all their children. Five children, eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. That's a blessing! And what else can we ask for? And I'm thankful I can still walk even though I do have a hard time! That's about all you can do when you get old. You be thankful for what you got!
